La Siesta Hotel - Hanoi (Blog)

La Siesta - Hanoi

Nestled into an ideal location in the Old Quarter, La Siesta Premium Hang Be Hotel has so much to offer. The sleek black tile, juxtaposed to colorful furniture and eclectic decorations makes for a quiet and peaceful atmosphere inside, away from the chaos on the streets outside.

But the first thing we noticed was the incredible service and friendliness of the staff. Everyone from the bellboys and doormen, to the front desk clerks, were attentive and eager to help with any need or question. If you need suggestions for your time in Hanoi or even for later in your travels, be sure to ask the desk for recommendations—Phuong was particularly helpful for us!

Since Hanoi was our first stop on our trip, the breakfast buffet was a godsend. With a range of hot options—and a made-to-order omelet bar—there’s something for everyone. We opted for the phố each morning which was a great way to ease into Vietnamese food as it was familiar and not too hard on our stomachs. Be sure to get their coffee as well to fuel up for the day—you’ll come to find it’s hard to get a bad coffee in Vietnam due to the culture surrounding it, but the coffee at La Siesta was especially good.

After our days walking the streets, tallying up over 15,000 steps every day, be sure to catch the sunset at the Lighthouse Sky Bar on the roof. With incredible 360-degree views of Hanoi and fantastic drinks, it is the perfect way to wind down.
